For eight weeks students collaborated with students at Lake Forest College, Colorado College, Oberlin, DePauw University and Monmouth College via the Internet, exchanging photography, video, drawing, digital images and painting.

In addition to the works made for the Exquisite Corpse Project, this multi-media, multi-campus, ditigal, collaborative, web-based artmaking endeavor informed our classroom work in new ways, suggesting new possibilities of thought, of production, and imagery.

The Exquisite Corpse Project has been funded by grants from the Midwest Instructional Technology Center since 2002.

We also collaborated as a classroom to add text and animation to one of the completed Exquisite Corpses, making an experimental webcorpse. Electronic music for this experiment was composed and produced by students in Professor Tom Lopez' class at Oberlin College.
