When I was born, I kind of just sat there, maybe rolled around a little bit, mainly out of lack of bodily control than desire.  Or at least that’s what I’m guessing, I can’t quite remember.  Then one day, as the story goes, I learned to crawl, and I bet I was pretty proud of this new found ability.  Good-bye sitting around, I’m going to crawl everywhere and into everything whether I need to or not, whether I should or not.  But some things were out of reach for children, and a lot of times those things would have been tasty (and maybe even non-toxic).  So I learned to walk.
